Usually, strategy guides for World of Warcraft tend to concentrate on only one area like leveling, making gold, professions, or player vs player. The Ultimate Wow Guide covers all of those things in one place. There’s no other guide that currently comes close to the same breadth of information. You might think that a guide like this is difficult to keep current, but the guide creator keeps it up to date for any changes from patches or expansions.
There are three sections that the Ultimate WoW guide is grouped into. The first section is devoted to the speed leveling guide for both Alliance and Horde, and covers all races and classes. The leveling guide is actually an in-game add-on which puts older PDF and web based guides to shame. I don’t know of anyone who liked alt-tabbing between their game and a PDF guide, and with this guide you’ll never have to again.
The in-game guide is simple to install and it basically configures itself to whatever character you’re using. Figuring out what you need to do is straight forward since the guide holds your hand through all the steps you need to take. All you have to do is accept quests and the guide handles marking way-points on the map and directing you with an arrow on your screen. The guide uses only a small amount of screen space and works like a charm.
The in-game guide also includes quests that are specific to only your class. Very few guides include this. The supplied gear spec guide is fairly extensive and is for every classes up to level 80. One thing not currently seen in any other guides is that Dugi’s Talent Guide resides entirely within the game. This works by taking advantage of templates for all of your character’s talents which can be easily chosen when it comes time to select those talent points.
How to make huge piles of gold is the focus of the 2nd part of Dugi’s guide. After you have hit level 80, you’ll be moving on to making gold. To make a size-able quantity of gold you really need to be high level, which is exactly what this gold guide is designed for. Mounts are the sole reason to farm gold for low level characters and that’s just to speed up leveling. The Gold Guide tells you the best areas to look for items, which dailies to do, and how to dominate auctions. The guide makes it easy to earn more than five hundred gold per hour, which is unbelievably fast. Professions and gold making go hand in hand. The included Professions leveling guide clearly explains which professions that you should take and how to level them up fast and on the cheap.
PvP combat is the subject of the third and final part of the Ultimate WoW Guide. This is the one thing I like most about this game. The guide shows instructions for every single race/class combination. You will receive a list of mods and macros that will make PvP much easier, and a guide to choosing the best PvP talents.
The Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide is a complete guide that leaves nothing out. I know it sounds a bit cliche, but you won’t need anything else after you get this guide. Whether you’re interested in guides for leveling, gold, PvP, talents, professions, PvP, or gear; every one of the included guides is top notch. I can’t recommend another guide as highly as the Ultimate WoW Guide from Dugi.
