It is said that spending time in front of the computer can be detrimental to your eyes, however, I used to spend almost 10 hours a day in front of it and have never had any problems. After reading a lot about cats, online, and putting a lot of thought into it, I still decided to get one. I opted for a Birmanese kitten, who, although scared at first, got used to me and my girlfriend very quickly. By nothing I absolutely mean nothing. That cat cat had absolutely scratched up my cds. All my CDs were scratched, and my couch was beggining to show signs of wear from the constant clawing. My little kitty always had to have its bowl filled with food or else it would get up on the kitchen table and try to eat what it could find. Milk with kitty hair in it just isn’t good, trust me.
My clix 2 gb also was ruined by my little kitty. The player had no way of defending itself, and my kitty quickly found that out, chewed it up, and left it in a corner. I was very fond of my player and was so mad I almost gave the kitty away. My girlfriend, however, bought me a new player, and told me she found the kitten very funny, and not to give it away. What could I do?
I’ve started keeping all my important things inside a locked desk, and consider anything left outside scratch-resistant. So does my kitty, probably, because It really puts it to the test. Having full reign of the house, my kitty now thinks its more important than me. My girlfriend seems to think so too!
My daughter was close to celebrating her birthday, and I was at a loss as to what present to get her. Knowing her, I figured she wouldn’t like dolls as much, thinking she’s too old for them, but I knew no other presents she’d like. My wife had no ideas so I had to find something good on my own, and take responsability in case it was a failure.

I revealed to my wife my player, and she called me crazy. She doesn’t know a thing about technology. Buying it has been one of the best decisions I’ve taken, and I’ve been using it ever since, even at work. There’s always time to listen to a song, no matter how busy I am.
The American president, Barack Obama has been quite criticized by his our press after he decided to give the Queen an iPod. The gift was given during a meeting held at Buckingham palace. The idea of giving the iPod was that of getting the Queen back some memories from her visit done in the USA a couple of years ago, but also to familiarize her with new policies and ideas of the USA, through the numerous speeches the American president included on the device.
Officials in the White house claim that Obama made another gift for the Queen, which consist in a rare audio book of Richard Rodgers. He received a gift from the Queen as well, but sadly it was nothing special, just a plain photo of her and Prince Philip, framed and signed, the usual gift she gives to all foreign presidents and officials that visit the palace.
Because the American president really tried hard to provide a special and priceless gift to the Queen, and he got in return just a simple photo, he must’ve felt pretty bad. Still, he remained happy-looking and no one suspected anything about the uncomfortable situation.
The American press claims this is the second inappropriate present Obama gives. A few weeks ago he gave to another Britain official, Gordon Brown, a set of 25 classic movies on DVD. Nice present, but too bad they were only fit for American video systems and don’t really work well on European players. Let’s only hope that Obama remembered to include an ipod mini battery , so that the Queen doesn’t have to go out and buy one herself if she wants to listen to anything on the device.
Obama was not the first person in the world to get the Queen an ipod. Sources say that she has one already, also received as a gift in an official meeting, full of classical tunes she like so much. Even if the situation at this official meeting was a bit odd and many newspapers commented on it, it looks like both the Queen and Obama were having a wonderful time.
