The tradition of Easter egg hunts goes back centuries in one form or another. As a symbol of fertility and new birth, eggs planted around the home bring to mind the rebirth of Spring. By incorporating that same feeling of joy into your hunt you will make it fun for the whole family.

To generate the most fun, decorate the house in a festive style. Finding eggs is great, but sdecorating your home inside and out can really create a festive holiday feeling. Place a few colorful bouquets of flowers in nice vases and planters on the tables. Hang an Easter wreath on the door or a bunny door wrap. Put some tall stalks hung with Easter bunnies in the yard.

Before hiding any eggs or baskets, you’ll have to decide which kind of eggs to use and what should be in the baskets.

Eggs can be either real or artificial, or both. Decorating real eggs is still a lot of fun. Parent and child can spend a great time together making up and executing all kinds of interesting designs at very low cost. Artificial eggs have the advantage of saving some time and being filled with all sorts of delightful little surprises. Eggs can contain chocolates, jewelry and much more.

Similarly, baskets can be a variety of different things. Everything from miniature flashlights to puppies or kittens have made their way into the baskets for kids to find. Stuffed or chocolate bunnies, magic tricks or games, or a thousand other little items bring joy to young hearts.

You can enhance the fun by making the basket the first thing to find. There are so many creative ways to do that. Drawing a little maze for them to navigate is one way. You can also make it like a treasure hunt. But don’t draw out this first phase too long. You will want to move on to the egg hunt fairly soon or impatience may set in.

Once the ‘hunter’ has basket in hand, the fun really begins. A mixture of easy-to-find eggs with those that present a challenge provides a good balance. Easy to find items give the young ones incentive to continue, since they see rewards right away. But those that take a little more time and effort help draw out the game like an interesting movie in which they’re eager to discover what comes next.

If you’re planning a hunt for multiple children your skills as an Easter egg hunt planner will be tested. That’s part of the fun for you! There are several ways to carry that task out successfully.

You can give different kids different sets of clues that only they follow. With guides known only to them, the odds of another finding treats intended for them are low. You can also provide for a little friendly competition in one phase by bringing the two paths together. Knowing which method to follow, and to what degree, just depends on the individual personality, age and skills of the children in the hunt.

Plan your Easter egg hunt well rather than just have a free for all where everyone searches randomly. The kids will have much more fun, and so will you as you watch their path to success.

Many people think that Christmas stress is about the Christmas rush, or is experienced when you made a lot of preparation for the Yuletide Season, like the food, decorations, and in choosing for the perfect presents to be given to every member of the household, or to your friends. For some of us we aren’t so lucky as for our main source of stress to be what goes around the lighted christmas garland, but a lot of other considerations. But for us doctors, Christmas stress never ends when the clock strikes twelve, and the 26th of December was marked on the calendar. For doctors the holidays last 365 days a year, or really the holiday stress follows us everywhere.

The holidays are about hope and giving life. Doctors are forced to make life and death decisions on a daily basis on behalf of our patents. We make them happy, especially if we can detect hope for their illness. Doctors do everything in their power to make clients feel better, when when recovery is near impossible, we just do our best to help them accept their situation and make them make the best out of the time they have left.

That’s why all the days of the year are like Christmas, and it really does make for a lot of stress on ones person, it’s a major thing when you’re being part of someone’s last breath. It gets really hard some times to be tough in front of someone who is dying, and all that you can really do is be sympathetic, or most of the time just letting them be with family is best. That’s what makes my job so stressful. Indeed, Christmas stress is different when you are in a medical profession, because you cannot get away from it, instead you need to learn to accept it as a normal part of your life. So this year when you’re sitting lighted christmas tree just relax and think it could be worse.

They say that everyone has to experience the Christmas blues at least once in their lifetime.  For me, I always thought that that’s impossible.  I love Christmas. Every year I look forward to Christmas more than any other holiday. they are correct really. I’ve got the Christmas blues. I am officially experiencing Christmas stress. I can’t even bring myself to hang the crystal white garland.

I cant think of what has gotten into me. I am wiped out recently. I was supposed to get gifts for everyone this week but I just can’t seem to find the right kind of cheer I need.  It’s my personal Christmas shopping principle to have “the right kind of cheer” whenever you shop because it will reflect a great deal with the gifts you choose. As if things couldn’t get any worse, mu husband Jim was talking to his boss who mentioned how much fun he had at last years dinner party so essentially invited himself.  Jim must have “forgotten” to tell me again last night.

So aside from the gifts I still have to buy and the Christmas stress I have to get out of, I have to prepare a dinner party that will top the one I gave before. I’d like to switch the toggle to turn myself into Superwoman. Nothing’s happening. I’m just too tired. I hope I’m not coming down with the flu or something. That would be hard on the children. They’re really expecting my usual upbeat self during Christmas season. I don’t want to bring down the party.

Ugh. I truly don’t feel very good.Pardon me…. WHAT!? My Christmas stress is officially over.

I just got the news that me and my husband are having a baby! Bring on the party! I guess the red garland might get hung this year.

I’ve never been one to ask for a normal gift under my LED christmas treeEvery year around Christmas time I start wishing for something special that no one else has. {Believe it or not|You may not think what I say is true}, I would always get my wish granted by Santa Clause, who ever since I’ve been a small child I’ve believed in.

As an example, there was a time that I wished for two gentlemen to court me on Valentine’s Day, and it happened. A goofy smile came over my face later that month, because I was thinking Santa made it happened. And for the following year, so for a second year I thought I would make a big wish, I wished with all my heart that I would meet the man of my dreams when I took my trip to Germany. During my trip, only two days before Christmas day, when I went to Germany on the train, I was sitting beside a man who I talked to for the entire ride. That man became my husband, Ralph. Now that is a great gift no one gets under their LED xmas tree.

This year, I am already through of wishing something for my self. this year I’d like to use my Christmas wish for one of my patients who has a bad case of diabetes. She is scheduled to have an amputation on the 28th of December, because it got infected . She is a Native American, and a mother of six girls; her youngest daughter is only three and her oldest in nine. She lives alone since her mother died of a heart attack six months ago. I can’t imagine how life will be for her family, since I don’t even know how she will make money if she can’t continue to work at the grocery store if she ha no foot.

If I could get anything I want this holiday season, it would be that I will be able to perform the operation very well, and let me give her the bet advice I can, and let her follow it. I also wish that the government would give more priority concerns for minority groups, especially those who are suffering from severe illnesses.

Flipping Christmas

Christmas can bring happiness, joy and stress, that is, for sure. Yearly, I have to go through the stress of this festive season. Sometimes for me, I see Christmas just like the usual depressing and happiest holiday of the year. Why? Because it makes me think about something that I haven’t achieve for this whole year, and another year is about to come and make me struggle to get into that goal. Me having my baby isn’t making the season any easier on me. My man Labron, he just helps me relax and makes sure I don’t worry myself to death at this holiday that comes once a year and always ends up ok. Everything down to picking up my new upside down christmas tree stresses me out!

I always believe though that maybe it’s the only time of this year that I get to notice some of the things I don’t possibly have, that’s why I go to this some sort of Christmas stress. Every year when Christmas eve arrives things seem like they will be ok. There are people who I see that I rarely get to, my parents for one, since they live in Maine and we are all the way in Florida, also I like to see my 3 nieces. Although sometimes we don’t encourage them to visit us during Christmas because I know they have other plans on this occasion.

Due to everything, I try to do a few things I’ve learned over the years to distract myself. I usually plan ahead and list down all the things to prepare. My hubby tries his hardest to help me by making suggestions on how we can stretch our dollars even further during the holiday seasons. And next year we are hoping to spend Christmas abroad, at least that could be a less stressful for us. I like to think of the things I’m looking forward to purely for my enjoyment like my chandelier christmas tree.

Everyone wants to get something they look forward to for Christmas, and hopefully we’ll get something nice this year. For some of us we want something under the black christmas tree and others want something else. But sometimes what we want doesn’t always happen. What I want for Christmas this year is that I would like to have something that I really want for myself. It would be a great benefit for me and Labron to get something like this that I’ve been asking for a few years now.

This year I want to buy a car for myself, so that when I go somewhere I liked, I could easily just drive there and get through it. I actually have a car right now that I drive only if under work hours, since it’s a company car. And usually we are not allowed to use company cars in driving or attending to our personal needs. And my husband Labron does drive his own car when he goes to work but our office is both situated in different locations. Aside from that, I would like to have a new and handy digital camera so I could take pictures whenever I happen to go to a place that is unfamiliar. Then I could see what wonderful pictures I could take, and add to my current collection, it would be a very good testiment to the passion I have for it.

For several years of working as a delivery driver, the road is the only partner that I had. And it’s far better to have some type of a hobby while I go off to work. It surely doesn’t bore me at all or let me think of something else rather than thinking about some problems or being alone in the road. That is what I want for Christmas this year, and now that I’ve written this my hopes are sky high, so hopefully I’ll get lucky black christmas tree.
