There is definitely a benefit to using a underwater fishing light when you go night fishing for crappie. If you are using a submersible light, you’ll want to submerge your light so it is only two or three inches under the water. you don’t want the light to be too close to the crappie you do not want to spook them away from you. (they will be attracted to the deeper areas where the light is a little bit lower – they will eat small fish and organisms attracted to the low light areas)
